SNYF-Sunday Night Youth Fellowship

SNYF – Sunday Night Youth Fellowship meets every week in the Loft at 8pm until approx 9:30pm. There are usually about 15-20 of us who meet to learn more about God’s Word in a fun and informal way. Every week is different – all the leaders take it in turns to plan each night. Bible study, leaders “talks”, testimonies and invited speakers are all included. And there’s always time for a game or two at the end of the night – finished off with tea and toast!

We don’t always stay in the Loft – this year we went to an event on Creation organised by a local church, and on April 5th we plan to take a bus to Belfast to go to Franklin Graham’s Celebration of Hope.

At SNYF we aim to grow in faith through worship, prayer and learning more about God’s Word. We also want to support and encourage one another as friends.

You don’t need to be a member of First Presbyterian Church Cookstown to come along, so if you are year 10 and up we would love to see you on a Sunday night at SNYF!

“Xplore” day on the north coast on Saturday 16th August

  Leaving Cookstown from the church car park at 9.00am and hopefully returning by 7.00pm (maybe a bit later if stopping for a bite to eat) Activities to include :-Team Games / Raft building challenge / rock climbing / abseiling / archery   Make sure your name is on the list in the loft and £10 deposit paid to Alastair by  Sunday 27th July. Total COST £30 and a parental consent form is required which can be collected in the loft. If you want any further details speak to any of the YF Team.
